Our lives take a twist,
When least expected,
Leaving a permanent mark,
That's hard to erase,
Acting as a remembrance,
Of our fortune and misfortune;
It's always positive or negative,
Either happiness or sadness,
For as much as we try,
We can never choose,
An option,
That suits us best,
To enclose,
The situations,
We find ourselves in.
All this make one,
Virulent about life;
Due to the villainous,
Experiences encountered,
But also,
Ensure our faces are aglow,
With a demure smile,
Garnered from the joy,
That entangles our paths;
Though sometimes,
It doesn't last long,
It does pep one up,
Relieving the pain,
Of the past disappointments,
Gotten from inconsiderate people,
Who with no time,
Become an eroded memory,
While their actions blur,
Impairing their power,
To spasmodically,
Blight and disrupt our lives.
