INEXTRICABLY CONNECTED

The feeling was intangible,
Though one trait was very lucid;
It immensely sent pangs of anxiety,
Across the motionless stiff body,
That had already been entrapped ,
In galloping and spooky fear,
Peculiarly unpredictable,
With each passing minute,
Wishing I could be quietude,
To prevent the darkness from resurrecting,
Inside my ingenuous aching heart,
Devoid of energy and elation;
An absolute devastating cruelty,
To the day's awaiting chores,
Needing exceptionally careful attention,
Rather than desultory,
Convoluted considerations,
Emanated from mere hazy thoughts,
Ensuing more agonizingly,
Boundless anguish,
Proving to be intolerable,
As it had a drastic obtrusive effect,
That required hasty intercession,
Before the wee strength left in me,
Vanished like the joy existing beforehand,
Wishing it would be reignited,
For all the multiple mixed emotions,
Were inextricably connected.
